State of Play

On Saturday we went to go see "State of Play" to celebrate that Greg had finished up his semester at BYU! Greg thought it was a decent movie and I thought it was pretty good. I thought it had an intriguing plot, good twists and generally good acting. Though, I'll admit, it's not a must see. But if you want to watch something entertaining and pretty good, then go see it! They do use the f-word twice, but it was kind of disguised. We both had to turn to each other and ask if they did just use the word. So they aren't yelling it. Anyway, that's our report!

Oh, we also went to see Fast and the Furious 3 (or is it 4 or 5? I don't know - there's been so many). I thought it was pretty lame and Greg thought (like a typical male) that the car scenes were awesome. I wouldn't go see it again, especially because the media seems to think that two girls kissing is a sexy thing. YUCK!

Monsters VS. Aliens

We went to go see Monsters vs Aliens last night in 3D! Unfortunately we sat in a movie theater with a bunch of loud college students, but whatever. We enjoyed the movie, though it didn't seem to be as good as past DreamWorks movies. Bob the Blob was probably the funniest character, and he made us laugh out loud sometimes. The storyline was kind of predictable, but I guess the kids would probably love it - though definitely not as much as they loved Kung Fu Panda. We'd still tell people to go watch it. It had some cute moments and funny parts :)
